In Tuson, Arizona, every year, the most amazing gem show on earth takes place.
Even as someone quoted from Yelp about the Tucson Gem Show,
"I have been to the Smithsonian Museum's mineral wing
and they have nothing on some of the stones you can see here."

Known as the "Worlds Biggest Treasure Hunt."
The Tucson Gem Show is simply miles of vendors selling every mineral, rock, and gem you can think of.
The displays are enormous. The sites, the people, the buzz, and the exchange that takes place during the
given weeks is fast paced and full of excitement.

Even if you go there and see all the sites and displays at the show you will be amazed and it's worth the trip.
Put on your walking shoes and put the time aside to go - As Tucson during the Jewelry Show period is a once in a lifetime experience. You really have to go at least once to experience it for yourself and enjoy all the sites and visual activity.
Of course, once you go, you may be tempted to bring home a few rocks.... But it's really hard not to fall in love with at least some
colorful little gem specimens somewhere.
